Description: In this 90 minute training, Coaches will receive an overview of the Appreciative Inquiry Model and discuss how to leverage its strengths and impact in their work with clients. Coaches will learn how to apply the model to unique facets of the coach : client relationship and how it can aid in building rapport, the coaching conversation, and defining and setting goals.
Upon completion of this course, Coaches will be able to:
Understand the 5 Principles and 5D Cycle that are the foundation of the Appreciative Inquiry Model
Gain a thorough understanding of how the Appreciative Inquiry Model enhances the coach’s ability to connect, build rapport and support personalized authenticity in their work with clients
Build additional tools that supports the exploration, definition and execution of the client’s goals from the staged perspectives of overall vision, long term goal, short term goal, SMART goal(s).

About the Trainer:
Megan Murk, NBC-HWC, is a skilled Health and Wellness Coach & Educator who has a passion for training and mentoring future health and wellness coaches. Megan earned a BA degree in Sociology and a Masters Degree in Integrative Health Studies with a Certificate in Health Coaching & Wellness Management. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in coaching individuals, training and supervising coaches, and building coach teams.
Megan passed the inaugural National Board Certification exam for Health and Wellness Coaches in 2017 and also serves as an approved mentor for the National Board for the Credentialing of Health & Wellness Coaches (NBHWC) beginning in 2016 and is currently based in San Francisco, California.
