We have been presented with an unprecedented layering of challenges in 2020 and 2021, and they have a great impact in our coaching work. Much of what out clients are encountering is coated with uncertainty and out of their control, all of which calls for Coaches to adapt our abilities to meet them where they are at, and collaborate on navigating the path forward. In this 90 minute training, Coaches will learn how to hold space for acceptance, by sitting in the tension of the constraints of the current climate, and honoring the client's desired future via building structure and support to sustain in the present day while taking steps towards their preferred future. 



Upon completion of this course, coaches will be able to:

  • Hold a grounded understanding of acceptance and how supporting the client to broach that will bolster their future success.
  • Hold space for depths of uncertainty and unknown while staying within the Coach's scope of practice
  • Support clients in stabilizing the present to bolster their ability to succeed in their future change efforts.

About the Trainer:

Megan Murk, NBC-HWC, is a skilled Health and Wellness Coach & Educator who has a passion for training and mentoring future health and wellness coaches. Megan earned a BA degree in Sociology and a Masters Degree in Integrative Health Studies with a Certificate in Health Coaching & Wellness Management. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in coaching individuals, training and supervising coaches, and building coach teams.


Megan passed the inaugural National Board Certification exam for Health and Wellness Coaches in 2017 and also served as an approved mentor for the National Board for the Credentialing of Health & Wellness Coaches (NBHWC) beginning in 2016 and is currently based in San Francisco, California.
